They cant prove that it did, and you cant prove that it didnt!
But I would get in touch with V&H and see what they say..Tenn.

First I heard of that one, If you have a newer bike and still under warranty than that would be a good answer from a dealer. There are far too many people installing piggy back tuners and not having any issues with their computers. Sorry just hard to believe and +1 with tenn.vol. make them prove it.

My experience with V&H customer service and their products (MO's and FuelPak) has been first class. I would not hesitate to call them up and bounce this one off them, I'm sure they'll have an answer for you. I have never heard of this problem, and have a couple thousand miles in mine...no problems whatsoever. Been great so far! Good luck, Sir.

One of the dealers here installs them on new bikes along with V&H pipes.

I doubt it like most of the piggy back tuners (PC, DFO, Fuel Pak ect) it connects after the ECM and alters the signal to the engine, I do not believe that it is sending anything to the ECM.

Im not a fan of the Fuel Pak because for about the same $ you can get a PC that not only adds / removes fuel but can make timing changes and adjust each cyn where as the Fuel Pak can not be tuned on a dyno (need to use the V & H numbers) and does not make any adjustments to timing.

But I dont think it caused your ECM to go out. On my bike I originally had a SERT used to tune it and the ECM blew at about 30,000 , I was lucky the dealer warrantied it but I did not want to spring for a new SERT (at that time aSEPro Tuner) so I went with a Fuel Moto Tuner (PCll built for Ful Moto) and it runs great
