Hey Joe, go with a PCIII/dyno tune....money well spent to maximize rideability/performance!

I agree, I have a download and it is not really worth the money...

Plus the dealer told me this week that they are not allowed to do downloads anymore, just Tuners like a PCIII or SERT

Might just be the local dealer to me, but he implied it was all over.

Don't Download! All you get for your money is an EPA stepped on POS. Go SERT or PC. Do a search to learn the differences between the two and make your choice. Ofcourse a dyno tune is best but both have canned maps that are much better than the download POS.

Did I mention that the download is a POS.

I took my bike in last week for the 1000 mile service. Asked the service manager about a download for the ECM. He said that there was one available but that it wouldn't change anything enough to justify the cost. He recommended that I wait until I change the mufflers and air box and then retune the bike with a SERT and dyno.

I went w/ the PCIII and a canned map for now.
Will install true duals this winter and then dyno tune.
The HD download is a $150 that you can't adjust (like a tuner) in the future.

A road Glide with a bat fairing. That's interesting.
