how to patch a hole

Default how to patch a hole

I put in some bct baffles and think I might want to put back the origianal ones in. how would you patch the hole I had to drill for the new baffle bolt ?
I'm afraid that if i don't patch it some how that the leak caused by the drilled hole i put in for the new bolt will damamge my heat sheild.

any thoughts ?

If you can, put a bolt in it. If not try epoxy or high temp silicone.

+1 on a rivet. If the hole's bigger than you can manage take it to a shop that can do it for you.

Put a bolt through it..... if it's under a heat shield ( ie: nobody will see it) I'd take the MIG welder to it just so there's nothing to rattle loose after a few thousand miles.
