It doesn't seem that much has changed in the 11 years since this thread was started

12" apes are OK and 14" apes put the stock cables at their limit. Got it.

I put 12” KST’s on my ’20 FLHX, rerouted the clutch and brake per instructions, used KST's wiring extensions, but the clutch and brake used ALL the slack. I decided I preferred tens anyway, and changed them.
