Default Amsoil severe gearŽ

Those of you who use AMSOIL SEVERE GEARŽ which should I use (75W-90), (75W-110) or (75W-140).

I use the 75W-110, because I live in the north. If I lived in the deep south as you do, I would go with the 75W-140.

75-110 or 75-140, either should be just fine.

at 75-110 or 140 i lost about 20 miles on a tank of fuel.....75-90 seems to work the best...in las vegas

I believe the 75/140 will give you better gear protection.

I am running the 75-110 in my 09 (non helical 5th gear) and I must say that with it, the whine is much more pronounced than it was with Bel-Rey Gear Saver. A friend of mine just bought an 09 Street Glide with 1600 miles on it. When he got it the guy before him put the Syn3 in it and the whine was really annoying. He put Redline in and it is much better. I'll probably run the Redline next time I service my bike.
