I suggest you take the antennas off before you place the cover on it. A friend of mine had a cover on his RG on the back of his trailer (I know, you shouldnt transport a bike with a cover on it) and he drove from Florida to Texas and when he got to TX he took the cover off and his bike was beat to hell from the tip of the antenna. Even if you don't move the bike with the cover on I would think a bad wind storm could throw the cover around enough to beat up the paint. Just an FYI

Me too! Just cut a little slit and presto! Works fine. I thought the tear length would get worse over time but it has not. Works great...

I fold the antennas forward and cover them, no problems so far.

I usually tuck the end of the antenna under the drivers backrest and the antennas help hold the cover up in the back so if it rains the rain just runs right off.
Same here, no problems with doing it this way to date.

Unscrew them, I lay both antennas across the passenger footboard bracket and the rider board and cover, it's done, been doing that since March when it came home.

Have a HD cover (98722-90C) that I use for my 2011 FLHTK. Works great with the velcro-secured slit at the rear. Fits great. Paid $85.00 for it....

I just fold the antenas down and hook 'em on the saddle bag latches. Been doing it for years, causes no problem at all.

By the way, I put my bike in my Bike Barn, so there's never anything pushing down on the antenna's. You might want to look into getting one. I bolted mine to the driveway, and it has been through snow , sleet, hail, and 60-70mph winds and is still standing for the last 3 years.

Have the HD cover & added 1/2" ID PVC over antenna to prevent bending...works like a champ.
