Ok, I've been through so many motor mounts looking for nirvana that I consider myself somewhat of an expert on this matter.
The original mount that came with the bike was a 79B which is no longer available but the Buell mount is exactly the same as the 79B. Only problem is they don't last too long but they are very smooth when compared to the newer mounts (79D).
I have been through a couple Buell mounts and got tired of changing them so I tried a Velva ride which absolutly sucked. I then tried a Glide-Pro and have decided that it's performance with regards to vibration is somewhere between the stock 79B and the newer 79D so I am sticking with the Glide-Pro. It is very well made and may outlast the bike. I think that I have finally found a workable compromise that I can live with.

I am going to 'try' and give mine a 500 mile break in just to see what happens.. One thing suggested and I might try before I put on miles... loosen the center bolt and make sure it is NOT in a bind, meaning not straight - if it is, re-torque to proper and put the miles on... if not straight, might be cause for more vibrations?? anyway, worth a look and looks to be an easy check??
