Passenger backrest

I need to buy a passenger backrest for the wife but Im not sure I like the harley one. Sure it matches the stock seat but its 279.00 for the rest and hardware. I guess I just dont really know what my options are.

You said you "need" to buy one, but you didn't say if you actually want her to ride with you. If you want her to ride with you, get the most comfortable one you can find. Have her look with you. If you don't want her to ride with you, get the least comfortable one you can find.
