Default Swapping out head pipes on my 10...Any tips or tricks???

Getting ready to install the FM header on my 2010 Ultra today. Been a while since I have done a full exhaust swap. Last time was my 06 Street Glide and it was kind of a rush job because we were leaving for a trip and I wanted to get it done quick. Any tips, tricks, tools to make the job easier on the 2010???

A 1/4 inch ratchet & socket set with a couple of good long extensions make gettin' at the exhaust manifold bolts easier & make it harder to break the studs when puttin' the new header back on. You should also have a spare set of exhaust gaskets. You might not need 'em, but better to have 'em......etc. The floorboard bracket can be rotated out of the way with a large screw driver or rubber mallet if you don't want to hack your way to the big allen under the frame.

Dont over tighten the head bolts, I beleive their in "inch pounds", and follow the sequence information in the service manual. Its no fun to replace a exhaust stud, I know!

I installed the same setup about 4 weeks ago.
It is easier to install the exhaust flange nuts without the heat sheilds.I also used antisieze on the studs.
I had a little difficulty installing the crossover over pipe.Might want to have someone hold the left side when you line up and clamp it to the headpipe and tranny mount.
The headpipe lined up great due to the well made bends and welds.
