Default Doing new wheels your opinion

Of you guys and girls who have done new wheels on your tourer or bikes (with bags), have you also done the rear wheel? Or in your opinion it's not worth the money?

I did Both, even though it is hard to see the rear wheel, I would know.....

If you can only afford one, do the Front and then if it bothers you, you can always do the rear later...

Thats what I did. Changed out the stock black 9 spoke for a chrome one "thinking" you hardly even see the back one! Within a month the back was replaced with a chrome one as well!

Is it really worth the $$ to do the rear? IMO, Nope!

When I change wheels will I change the rear to match? Yep!

I really don't think it's worth the money but, just can't stand the two wheels being different!

Agreed. It's not worth the money, but it's worth the peace of mind.

I have laced, so I'm changing out both. I hate the thought of having tubes right now. Otherwise, you have a good point! Which ones are you looking at? I have a '10 Ultra, thinking about either the Airstrike Mirror Chrome, or 28 Spoke Mirror Chrome.

I think the Airstrike is a good looking wheel for the money! I like the 28 spoke also but, hear it's a real pain to clean!

I did 40 spoke in the back and 80 spoke in the front, nobody ever noticed. Any other type of rim I would do both.

I just did the front on mine and have had it that way for over a year now. I used the $1000 I saved from the rear and bought my air cleaner, PC-V, & Auto Tune.

I don't think it's worth it especially since I plan to add extended bags and air ride. That is, right after the FuelMoto 107 Kit.

I did both wheels at the same time. You can't see much of the back wheel but I would know they were different. It was worth the money for the peace of mind for me.
On my next bike, I am leaving the wheels stock.
