Default Do I need 1" Grips for my 2010 SG?

I want to buy some Performance Machine grips for my 2010 SG with stock bars. They show a set that fits 08-09 Touring, and the other set advertised are 1" Grips. Do I need to buy the 1" Grips (part #PM0063-2007-B) for my 2010 SG?

You want the 08-09 set because they're by wire throttle. I believe the other set is the older 2-cable throttle version.

+1 What they both said.

FWIW - I just removed these from my 2010 UC and went with the Avons. Nothing wrong with these, but once I put the Avons on my Sporty, the feel was just a little better.

These Avons are better grips and don't say "Perfomance Machine" all over the end of the grips. But that may be what you want.

Thanks TFB... I'll look into those. They look what I'm looking for.

Take in mind they are plastic with a Billet end cap. The PM's are billet all the way though. Don't think it matters really.

Also, the Renthal insert replacements on the PMs are 14 bucks EACH!
I wore out a pair in about a year and LEE-OVED buying replacement inserts at 30 bucks for a set of Grips that already cost like 130 or something.
