2011 FLHTK - converted w/pics!
The first order of business was to install the RS siren that I learned about here in hdforums and it worked well. Actually, I went a bit further and was determined to make it plug & play. I did that but it took a while to get it all sorted out and in the end it cost me about $20. Nice and loud. Thanks to all of you who posted the idea and information on wiring
For the conversion I decided to go with a Mustang 2-piece Day Tripper and so far I'm liking the seat. It wasn't my first choice though. I was really interested in a C&C seat but for whatever reason, Chuck never called me back. I installed the Quick Detach system (53246-09) which came with everything to relocate the license plate, 4-point docking hardware, extension cables, and strut covers. That worked out pretty well but as you can see, the docking hardware is plainly visible in solo mode. Also bought the Harley short sissy bar but had trouble trying to identify a small passenger backrest pad to go with it. Ended up ordering a Mustang mini pad which is a direct fit and I'm waiting for it to arrive.
Beside the awesome new look it's really nice to ride. So much easier to get that short leg over the bike. It even feels lighter and a more nimble.
Here's a preview but other pics can be seen HERE .
also add www tires to the lace wheels.
I want that old time look,, How do you think the www tires will look?

I'm only beginning with add-ons for this bike. All I need to do now is win the lottery so I can add some more, lol.
