'03 Ultra radio problem
I have a friend who has an 03 Ultra and has a CD stuck in it. I remember back when I used to put after market radios in my jeeps and trucks that there was a little hidden button on some models that when pressed with a straightened paperclip, it would pop the cd out. Is there such a thing on HD radios?
Also he was told to disconnect the battery to "reset" the radio. Now on my 06 SG I had the battery unhooked for 2.5-3 hrs when installing my passing lamps and when I hooked it back up, the radio was set as it was... meaning it has some kinda battery backup, memory, hard drive, nuc reactor. is this so on the 03 and he didnt actually reset it?
Someone has to have had a CD stuck in the player and knows how to get it out.
Thanks in advance
Andy

RE: '03 Ultra radio problem
I just did a radio software update, which I got off the HD website. I stated in the instructions, "if the CD appears jammed or will not eject, shut off the radio and turn the ignition key to OFF and pull the vehicle maxi-fuse and wait five minutes bfore replacing the fuse. Try ejecting the CD again one power has been restored."
Hope this helps,
