I think you might be onto something here. Maybe if HD does not supply the discount houses, the customers will quit using them without HD having to make an official ruling. Who knows

Where ever you go there is a waiting period for all products? No one stocks any thing any more and all has to be ORDERED ! If you think about this the country is starting to come around very slowly as people are ordering and spending money? Next manufacture's will start to HIRE people to keep up with orders coming in and for the Love Of God stores will keep product in their store ! I have always hated this "I do not have it but I can order it " BS !! I always pay more and get it right away.
But now no one has it at all??
I hope this season stores start keeping some stock in and forget about this "ordering it" Boloney !!

I used to order from Chic hd and found they are very slow to ship,.It seems if I called them about my order a week or 2 after placing ,it would then get shipped.I use Zanottis and If they have to order from Hd ,it will take 6 days to get ,otherwise I get item 2 days later,Chic Hd SUCKS ,they are 2 hrs from Milwaukee and you would think they were ordering from CHINA.

What really sucks is to order a part you must pay up front so they are using your money to buy the part and then keeping their cut.

Ordered the new LED lights at the beginning of Nov from CHD. Knew in advance, from previous dealings with them, that I'd need to be patient and wait. It was normally worth it to save the 20%. If I need parts right away, I go to my local dealer. This last order has taken much longer than usual. It appears that some of the other discount dealers are more responsive. Next time I'll try one of the other discount dealers mentioned on the forum.
