Honestly some of these fairings are over $2500 by the time they are painted, you could pick up many of SG fairing parts used and have a bad-*** stereo in it for that price.

I would be interested to see a parts breakdown and cost going through one of the 20% off deallers. Anybody that has too much time on there hands get on it!!!
I used a 20% off dealer, bought the Dead Center Fairing w/ stereo from them, opened the box, slapped it on and never looked back.

Total investment at the time was $1500 and 15 minutes, I had it painted locally for $100
This is my 2005 Road King Custom

I can't get my picture to load but the one I had was a Dragonfly, it seemed to fit better that the others I've seen.

I have a Memphis Shades detachable batwing fairing on my road king for the winter. Doesn't have a stereo and stuff but, it does help block out the cold.

Not great pics (Cell phone), but I have a memphis shades detachable. Looks and works great, although I had to play with the mounts to get it to sit the way I wanted.

My DCC unit, clean, very functional and a dream to ride behind on long roads. Can still and do still drop back to basic RK for local rides.

Okay, not aftermarket per sey. My own build, fully detachable, based upon a RK windshield and HD OEM inner and outer fairings. Has amp and speakers for iPod. Will be adding larger amp, two more speakers, and tweeters this spring.

Here's a link to a lot of my pics. I have a Woody's fairing and love it. had it painted and striped. Detachable and quick detach wiring connector.
