Default Heel/Toe Shifter Shaft Cover with Insert

I have seen these shaft covers to cover up the portion of the shaft left exposed when you remove the heel shifter.

Has anyone seen these or something similar in a black power-coat?

Thanks!

When i removed the heel shifter from my bike, i used a cover that i had on the hand brake bolt that was the brake line. It is held on by an Allen screw. Lot cheaper and i had one. You can use one like that just rough it up with emery cloth and paint it flat black. Cheap fix.

actually, i don't care for the hd one all that much. kuryakyn makes one that is better, it is more of a sleeve and fits on the inside. the hd one caps the piece of the shaft that sticks out. if you use a sleeve type, it will allow you to move the lever out away from the engine and be more comfortable.

i'm not recommending the kury one over something else (other than the hd one) but the one i got was made by a machinist here on the forum and i don't know of any other manufacturers....

I think somebody on here was making a custom one and painting it engine color but I can't find the post now. I'd like to buy one now too!
