Default Prochargers?

Would like to hear any negative issues that are known with installing one of these on a touring bike. Heat? Engine life?. I know that they look and sound cool plus the fun factor has got to be up there. Aside from crankshaft work and a clutch upgrade you would need special injectors and a tune. Good time for a chain drive too.

I'm going to subscribe to this thread just to see what I can learn. I talked to a guy in Daytona who had one installed, he had only had it a couple of months and said the only downside he was having was fuel mileage, but of course that was due to his right hand and fun factor. (less than 20mpg).

Get ahold of Frank@DragosBikeWorks.He's a Guru when it comes to ProChargers. He built my 107" and installed a ProCharger w/14lbs of boost.Fast would be an understatement.I run mine relatively hard at times and I still average around 35mpg.That's not too bad for a bike putting out 182hp/151ft.lbs.tq.Aswe speak he's in the process of installing a chain-drive conversion, his new 2into1 exhaust and bigger injectors.Give him a call {815-765-1790} he'll be able to answer all your questions.Ride Safe

In my world there are no issues with blowers.
1. heat none
2. Same engine life as built motor depends on rider and care of motor
3. Yes you will need to increase size of injectors depends on motor build.
4. Clutch depends on power output but I would say yes.
5. Chain drive is a plus after 125 hp
6. Crank work is always a plus......

We do all this we have our own..
DBW custom injectors
DBW Custom chain drive ids 08,09,10,11 baggers
DBW AIM Procharger clutch
DBW Custom crank work 200 hp crank specs,
DBW Custom built motors for prochargers

We have many stock bike out there with just blowers making 125hp with Prochargers add a cam 142/148hp on 96 inch motors

I am building 6 engines right now for Procharger bikes.
From..
1. Canada
2. Texas
3. Mi
4. Caif
5. Rockford IL.
6. Iowa
And I hope 3 more by next week.

It's crazy here but I love it.
