Default How to remove warning stickers off painted parts?

Just installed new black saddlebag guards which came with the annoying warning stickers. They are not the easy peel off kind either. Peeling is difficult and coming off in small pieces. Does anyone have a good method to remove these?

Soak a paper towel in Goo Gone and leave it on the exposed adhesive for a few mins and wipe. Repeat several times if necessary.

You'll have to peel/scape the top layer off to expose the adhesive...use some heat to soften it up.
then use wd40 or something similar to dissolve the adhesive

A powerful hair dryer is enough. That's what I used but my stickers were on chrome. They came off with minimal adhesive remaining. I think your rails are powder coated if they are factory items.

I use a blow dryer to get the sticker off, then WD-40 or any kind of light oil to get the adhesive.
