What is about these damn companys that can't use a tape measure. My HCC bar are 16" all day long, but they say they are 14".

If you are considering the Yaffe's I think that is the way you should go. If you are antyhing like me if you get the cycle smiths you will be sitting there dreaming about the Yaffe's and end up getting them later on regardless.

Get what you want even if it costs more if it is what is going to make you happy.

Go to his website and look at the pics on the bike, the 12's will definitely have your hands over the fairing. Trust me I know !! Cool in the summer....cold in the winter !! They can call them 12's all day long but they measure 14".

wild one WO577 12.5" bars are great on my 07 FLHX... i got them from hill country customs and they put together a bar/cable/wire package that was all inclusive... the bars are just about the same size as the cyclesmith 13s....
+1 I run these bars on all my bikes, comfortable angles, no numb hands and they are strong no flexing, there are people selling fakes on ebay so I only buy direct from their website.

I think that you might find that 12" bars will block too much of the fairing mounted mirrors. With 13" cyclesmiths on my Street Glide the switch covers blocked about 1/3 of the mirrors. Lower bars will block more. Than again it all depends on how tall you sit in the saddle, and how far foward or back the bars are.

Yaffes are pricey but they look great. I get tons of questions and compliments on them. As others have said they are more like 14". Your hands will be above the fairing. I ride down into the 20s going to work in the winter and had no more issues with my hands than I did when my bars were low. You can use your mirrors no problem. They are very comfortable.
