2 into 1 .... Leg Heat
I see a lot of bikes with 2 to 1's on them. The ones that have the rear cylinder pipe coming forward of the trans then curving back, do they create any extra heat on your leg anywhere that wasn't there with the stock crossover header? (I already know duals get rid of the right leg heat)

Although I have shields I believe the heat to be no different from the stock and certainly not greater than true duals unless you discount the left side heat from a true dual setup.
I've riden over 22,000 miles with my 2:1 and in ambient temperature of 116. Not a problem in stopped traffic but I must say that without the "nomorefriedthighs" I may be telling another story.
My B.... says there is no heat issue on her feet or legs.

More heat than true duals....that's for sure!

A good 2-1 will outperform ANY true dual system by a substantial margin & eliminates the heat issue of the stock system also.
My Supertrapp Supermeg runs every bit as cool as a true dual system(cooler on the left side)
