I got the wide as the passenger seat I think was 2" wider. Gotta keep the copilot happy or it makes for a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng ride. I remember the time I bought a saddleman road sofa and all I heard was @#$%&&***....... that's a story for a different time and thread.
I also have the wider 1 piece touring seat, u gotta keep her happy. Later bought daytripper for when it's just me, which is 90% of the time, can't go wrong w/ mustang.

That's exactly what I did... Mustang seats were some of the best money spent on my bikes. I love the Daytripper when solo, but if the wife's coming along, I install the wide Touring seat.
I called Mustang and the Sport Touring uses a different pan which lowers the seat. You can't use your Harley backrest with the Sport Touring though. You can with the wide.

The two piece solo with wider (13") passenger pillion does keep the whining from the rear down to a minimum; I do not consider anything less than the "Queen's" comfort if I wish to take longer rides!!! With the little woman off I remove the pillion with no longer a whine control issue! Very comfortable set up. They offer in plain and a button tucked version.
