I blew out the rear shock seal - waiting on the seal to come in, scheduled my 1K service, and drove a cage through blowing snow 50MPH winds to work this morning, with a recovery to over 70F by Friday. its been a crazy couple of weeks!

Yep, it happens, last time that happened to me with electrical tape, checked every drawer in the house and toolshed, added to grocery list "50 damn rolls of electrical tape", when bought put a roll of tape in every damn drawer I checked the first time. Take that brain !

Installed some 16" Carlini Gangster Apes with Magnum braided lines on my 2010 Road King FLHR

Here's me trying to figure out the pull back that I wanted... Turns out the windshield gets in the way of how I'd like to mount them so I've pushed them as far forward as possible without interfering with it for now.. I'm going to test out not using my windshield at all this year and see how it goes (I rarely use it anyway)

Here's the finished product..

Excuse the crappy background in the pics, I haven't had a chance to take it somewhere nice for some pictures yet this year...

Too high for my old shoulders and neck, but looks old skool chopper good. Wouldn't have even noticed the background, had you not mentioned it, so all is good there. tomp dd50

Well, took all of 2 minutes to replace the turn signal caps, and another 2 mins for bag organizers, so more time to ride!

Finally got it back up and ready to ride. Was waiting on bolts for the rotor. Installed the 14" ness rotor kit which came today , progressive lowering kit (1"), and replace front wheel with a 21x3.5 since it had a 2.15 wide wheel on it when I bought the bike. With wheel and suspension done at once I can tell a big difference in how much better it rides. It was a little unstable in curves and low speed turns. Also the brakes are seating but it already feels improved over the single 11.8, I put ebc hh pad in too. It feels nice to be able to flat foot the bike better without it being too low, just back to level.
