Got the defective right hand side "Cruise Set/Resume" switch swapped out with a replacement and did a clutch adjustment. While doing the clutch adjustment, found that turning the jam nut loose and then trying to twist the cable to the "short" position was a PITA.. It just wasn't spinning closed unless I grabbed it with pliers and twisted it around at the bar end to get that cable shortened.. thinking I need to replace that cable?

lube your cable, and squirt some lube on the threads and let it work its way into the adjuster

I actually bought these rims used this fall and decided to polish them along with the rest of the front end . It was a very long process that I wouldn't want to do again . I made a jig with a pieces of plywood and a 1" piece of pipe so the rim would spin as I worked on it ... Started with 800 grit sandpaper and worked up to 2000 gritt . Once the rim was totally smooth , I hit it with a red rouge using my drill and a buffing wheel and finished it off with a green jewelers rouge . They turned out really nice , but to keep the shine I will be polishing them every once in while with Mothers Chrome Cleaner , I believe in that stuff , works awesome .

If you just want to clean up your rims I would just use the Mothers and give them a really good cleaning . Use one rag to apply the Mothers and another to wipe them clean . I use a scissor jack to raise the bike off the ground , so I can spin the wheel while I clean . I haven't found a product yet better than this , it cleans up dead bug , road tar and break dust . Makes them look new again .

Pulled out my radio and packed it up to send back to Iron Cross. Regardless of what the manual says, this deck would only slide out the back after taking the rubber gasket off from around the front.
