Are those standard size bags on there? Why does it seem like I can see so much more of the rear tire? Is it because of the exhaust? Lol, bet so. Nice.

Installed billet style front/heel shift linkage. Also added Defiance foot pegs. Easy job, though even the easy jobs seem to require a lot of tools. Used:

CDI 1/4 electronic torque wrench (peg bolts)
Kobalt 3/8 electronic torque wrench with generic extensions and hex socket (for linkage bolts - not super easy as you put them in from the bottom up, even though OEM is top to bottom).
Snap On 1/4" Flex Ratchet (the flex was useful for getting the linkage bolts in before torque)
Klein T-Handle Hex
Wera Hex Wrenches (NEW). Was happy I was able to use them today. They are sweeeeeet.
Blue Loctite
Owners Manual (just to double check and compare with instructions)
Beer

I'm happy with them and got something done today.

They are standard bags. Personally I'm not a fan of extended bags. I like to ride hard in the twisties and don't want to take the chance of scraping the bags. but It could be because of the exhaust. I also have 14" shocks on the back, which sits the bike a little higher. That could be a reason there's more tire showing.

Got my parts order in the other day. So I was finally able to replace the broken speaker boxes and speakers. I still have to install the tweeters, but it already sounds a lot better. The speakers are from boss audio. I had to un-case the crossover circuits to get them to fit, there is not a lot of places one can put something like that. Pretty sure these screws are not oem speaker screws. Also replaced the windscreen as it had some weird blemishes. Then i went for a ride. Notice, i forgot to put the left bag back on before i left.

Forgot the side bag, huh? It wouldn’t have been too many Elysian beers, now would it? I see one in the 4th photo.

I ordered a cover for mine, for trips, and keeping my cat off the bike when parked in the garage. Tired of seeing paw prints on it, right after I wash it, and preventing scratches in the seat.

https://www.harley-davidson.com/us/e...ver/p/93100026

Hope to pick it up on the 3rd when I take my bike in for head bearing replacement. Parts are in, now waiting on my slot to get bike in the service dept.

Ordered some parts for my 2013 RKC for engine overhaul. Bikes got nearly 31k on it with the SE 204 CAMs and i figured while I was in the process of upgrading to the S&S CAM Plate and Oil Pump, I'd throw in a more aggressive set of CAMs (S&S MR103 Easy Start), Lifters (S&S) and a new top End 107 kit. Going to do CAMs, CAM Plate/Oil Pump and Hydraulic Tensioner upgrade and then address the top end after Sturgis with Fuel Moto 107" Cylinder/piston kit.
