Yeah, the transportation costs are extra. Labor costs are very high here in the Bay Area, so it's about the same price as getting the work done locally, and given the choice, I prefer FM do the work and dyno!

Is the bike going to get shipped back when complete?

Gosh, I hope so, otherwise I'd really miss it!!!

I simply don't have time to ride it home 2200 miles as I've got 2 small kids and a very busy job right now.

So the bike is only at Fuel Moto for about 2 weeks, and then it returns to my doorstep like the pic above, probably late August!

However I've also heard great things about C&C, however they don't have the pattern to do the matching backrest for the tour-pak. My other option with a matching backrest is Saddleman, which I've heard great things about them as well. So many choices. Haha...

I know some people have said that Corbin seats can be somewhat hard and take some time to break in, and that's ok with me. I just want my wife to be comfy. She doesn't mind the stock seat, but I hate it and I think they are just plain ugly. I want something with some style, yet comfort. Yes, I know the ole saying, "An ugly seat is a comfy seat." I beg to differ though. There are plenty of companies out there now who are making stylish yet comfortable seats. Honestly, I don't think I'd be unhappy with either of the seat companies I mentioned. I just need to make up my mind. Just trying to get opinions on the passenger portion as that's what REALLY matters. RIGHT? HAHAHAHA!!!
Anyway, thanks. Beautiful bike btw. Love the paint scheme
Good Evening and thank you crtman21. I've only rode a couple thousand miles on the Corbin, so it is a little stiff. I do love it though, and like it more than the c and c I had on my street glide. Great position and style.

The c and c was a solo seat, and we used a LePera when the wife rode along. She hated it. She likes the Corbin tons more than the stock seat, and states the plushness of the stock seat created more heat. She didn't like the sinking in feeling. She enjoys longer rides now, but I do feel the backrest and armrests help.

good luck with your shopping and decision.

Took mine for the first cat-free ride. I don't mind the sound, with the extra baffles, on the freeway, but at idle and when I blip the throttle, sounds terrible. Back to the drawing board.

On a good note, temps were about 90* today, and the heat on my right leg was a lot more bearable, than before the cat was removed. Tomorrow, I will do a little more "surgery" on the SE baffle until I get just the sound I want.

On a bad note, stopped on the way home to pick up a pizza the wife ordered, and got a very loud clack on first start attempt. Made no unusual sound on second attempt. Not sure at this point if its battery, or the comp. At least the comp is covered under the ESP. Might get my money back out of that thing yet.

Simple mod. Just a horn cover to replace the stock one. No logo and clean.
