Reworked and upgraded the front lighting. Two weeks ago I installed a knock off daymaker and passing lamp set. The passing lights were ok, but headlight was horrible.
I removed the headlight and installed a Sealight M2 LED bulb in the stock reflector.
Installed bright LED inserts in turn signals. White running light, then the white turns off when the Amber flashes. I did have to install a pair of load resistors .
Yes, they are from Amazon and are for bullet style lights. I made mounting adapters from some scrap plastic and glued them with clear silicone RTV . (some packaging waste, it looks like plastic cardboard) I’ve seen this stuff in white, but I had this black handy.
I bought Chris product smoke lenses (USA and inexpensive) for the conversion.
Mounted the load resistors on the back of the headlight bucket.
(if you have bullet lights, no homemade mounting adapters needed)
Insert with homemade adapter set in place. These are actually for the rear (lights up red)
