Will check them out. Nice idea, but not worth $80 to me, for a hinge.

I agree, it is stupid expensive, but I looked at it as cheaper than repairing an tour pack lid.

I installed one this spring, and I agree, it's a little spendy, but didn't want the lid flipping over, and I have a hard time trusting Harleys tether.

Yes, they are from Amazon and are for bullet style lights. I made mounting adapters from some scrap plastic and glued them with clear silicone RTV . (some packaging waste, it looks like plastic cardboard) I’ve seen this stuff in white, but I had this black handy.

I bought Chris product smoke lenses (USA and inexpensive) for the conversion.
Mounted the load resistors on the back of the headlight bucket.

(if you have bullet lights, no homemade mounting adapters needed)










Insert with homemade adapter set in place. These are actually for the rear (lights up red)
