Default EGC Rear End Clean Up II - Complete w/ pics

Well here it is:

1. I removed my saddlebag rails, cut a piece of leather from some old chaps and sewed on velcro strips to cover the holes left behind.

2. I added Kuryakyn filler pannels

3. I replaced the giant turn signal bar and lolly pop lights with a Kuryakyn turn signal bar with bullet lights

4. I added the Kuryakyn Run Turn Brake Light controller

5 Relocated the plate below the taillight

6. Added a taillight cover to block the upper license plate light

What did you use to relocate the plate?

The new signal bar comes with the bracket, and has a light on it too.

Did you get the signal bar that includes the lights, or did you add the lights? Kuryakyn has the one bar with no lights that they say to add Silver Bullet lights to. I'm wondering if the HD bullet lights will fit the Kuryakyn bar.

Looks clean, but I hope you never go down. You WILL be repairing/replacing saddlebags.

If my bike goes down and I am on it I will have bigger issues to worry about then my saddlebags.

Okay, I've had this for a while now, and just got around to installing it. It's the rear signal bar from an '09 Road King. The parts person at the Dealer said it wouldn't fit an '06. Well it won't if you just go by what the book says and don't think out of your little box. It fits fine with no modification. Now all I have to do is remove the hoop and install the AutoGem lights.

I guess I get the clean up look...............maybe not

Isn't the plate MORE visible below the tail-light than above it? Why move the plate any way?
