I ride my SG pretty aggressively and have never had my Monster Ovals scrape. Lowering the bike might be a problem, but otherwise I wouldn't worry about it.

Heres my ovals, with stock height. When I can afford it I'll get the fuel moto pipes with optional quiet baffle. If you want V+H then go for the rounds as you may have less chance of them scraping, and they have a really nice note I believe will be hard to beat.

Have the Monster Ovals on my 2010 Police Road King and am really happy with them. Nice deep tone and louder than stock, but not so loud, until I won’t to, and they match saddle bags width.

Been running the newer Twin Slash Monster Ovals for awhile now. Liked the Oval look but wanted something a little different.

As for sound, no complaints mellow when you need them but give the throttle a twist and they respond nicely. Louder than stock for sure but cruising at hwy speeds you still have no problem hearing the stereo.

As for the scraping, I've not had a problem with it. Took a left hand corner pretty aggressively a few weeks ago and felt and heard something scrape but when I checked it wasn’t the mufflers but I usually take it pretty easy In the corners. Have the ¾” floor board extensions so it may have been the left floor board that scraped or the jiffy stand.
As for the Dresser or True Duals I’m researching this decision myself right now. Have read a lot on the forum about both and I’m currently leaning towards the dresser duals mainly due to I prefer the look of the dressers over the power duals, but on the other hand I like what I’ve been hearing in regards to the power duals performance gains.

I have seen an heard both. Like them both, but I went with the Twin Slash Monster Ovals. Unless you really have a reason for one or the other, such as scraping or plan on changing your bags, it's all up to personal preference.

I'm pleased with my Monster Ovals and Power Duals. The sound is nice, not too loud. Haven't scraped them (yet). Have scraped the extended floorboards.

I have a set of monster rounds and dresser duals on a 2011 road glide. I love this set up. Sound and looks.

I'm good at opinions. I like the rounds myself.

The oval just seem too big, and remind me of this!
