Default Off with the HD Touring Pullbacks

I previously left a comment on another thread that I was satisfied with the pullbacks on my Street Glide. The problem was I started getting a slight pain in my right wrist which progressively got worse and then began in my left wrist. I started noticing pain on my outer wrist when I went to set the cruise or twist the throttle. I knew it was the angle of the bars after about 2 months. I should have listened to the advice on the forum.

Now I've got the Khrome Werks +2 sweepers and love them!!! I timed the swap at 1.5 hours! How many hours does HD Quote again?

I don't blame you. Wish I had the KW sweepers instead of the HD pullback bars.

Could you keep the OEM clutch cable? What Khrome Werks part# did you go with? I may decide to swap out my HD Pullbacks in the future.

I used PN 300515. I ordered it from http://www.powersportsuperstore.com/ for $69.00.

I used the OEM clutch cable, which was already routed outside of the fairing from when I had the HD Pullbacks on. There is plenty of slack left in the clutch cable that way. The only problem I almost had was with the TBW cable. I had to drop dental floss down from the grip end to the opening in the middle of the bar. I tied it onto the green connector and pulled/fed the cable as far as it would go through the bar, all the way to the black plastic plug. That left about .5 inch of green connector outside of the bar to reconnect the twist grip sensor.

everyone i talked with claim that the harley pullback bars sorta feel like operating a wheelbarrow. after this riding season is over, i may try changing my stock sg bars to the krome works +2's myself.

The wheelbarrow position wouldn't be bad if the bars are wide and low like beach bars, but they are high and narrow. The only criticism I have for the khrome werks +2s are they are pretty wide which spreads my arms causing me to have to lean into them a little more than the HD pullbacks; however you are still much more upright than with the OEM bars.

WORD OF WARNING!.........powersportsuperstore.com is very, very slow to ship if you qualify for their free shipping! I ordered items that were in stock and their website says same day shipping. What you have to do is read the fine print in their shipping policies....yes, I mean the fine print on another page that you must navigate to in order to read it. I waited a week for the parts and finally had to call and then was told it would ship the next day. Type in their name on your favorite web browser and read the reviews. They have great prices and the items I received were as described, but, don't be in a rush!

I know, off topic, but just wanted to offer some experienced advice.

I guess I just got lucky. They had to fill out a customs form at the post office to ship to me in Belgium and I still received it in 6 days. Thanks for the warning. If there are that many negative reviews online I probably would've ordered elsewhere.
