I have a 1998 ultra classic I took the inner faring apart to have it painted. I put it all back toghter with all plugs plugged in correct (# them) But the cruise control dosen't work the switch lights up but it will not set . Also turn signals will not cancle after turn witch it all ways did any help greatly appreciated.

 

I numbered mine and still had two backwards. Double check connections. Good luck!

 

+1. What he said. If I was a betting man I would wager a large number of dollars you will find at least one pair crossed. Don't ask how I know.
