Default extra gauges

on a standard you don't get the air temp and oil pressure gauges,how hard are they to put in.

The air temp is a waste of money. It does not tell you anything useful. the oil pressure is a different story. And I believe it comes with instructions. You have to remove the fairing. to install it. Go to HD web site search this part # 74439-00 and download installation instructions.

Air temp gauge is dumpster material, don't spend your cash on one. Oil pressure gauge is iimportant. Install oil temp instead of air temp unit. The compass unit is problematic as you have to recalibrate unit if you change the metal content in your saddlebags as the sending unit is close.

They are not too hard to put in. I think the kit was about 100 bucks. It sure makes the dash look better to me with all the gauges in place.
