Question exhaust question

ok, I have a 2008 ultra classic anniversary. It has slip on 3.5 reinhardts with the stock header pipes. I also have the stage 1 upgrade and the SERT module. It was all dyno and completed when I bought the bike last august. My question is the heat. Wife says her leg/foot is pretty hot. So is there a way I can just buy new header duals that fit the slip ons I already have so i dont have to buy new pipes. I understand it will have to be re tuned but I have the module so it shouldnt be a problem. And anybody have done this does it reduce the heat somewhat.. thanks Jeff

I actually did the same thing on my 09 SG. I had the 3.5's with stock header, then switched to the dresser duals. It did in fact seem to run a little cooler afterwards.

ok, so i did some research, looks like the V & H dresser duals are a good combo with my 3.5 reinhart that I already have. I plan on going out to Sturgis this year and was thinking of getting them installed at black hills Harley in the vendor area. I think (if i remember right) they had a V & H tent there or someone like that installing pipes. But after this change will it need to be re-tuned as well? I do have the SERT but do not have the cd for the laptop so I am outta luck there. I just don't want any issues. I will get it installed before the rally actually starts ... like wed or Thursday of the week before. So any body know if I will need a re tune? I do have the stage 1 installed now and it runs good with the stock headers and reinhart 3.5 slip-on. This is mainly for heat reduction under my legs and the wife's feet, hopefully it will help a lot. thanks Jeff
