Aerodynamically speaking,,how much of a difference is there? I find theres alot of buffeting with the batwing.

There can be a lot of buffeting with either depending on the windshield on each, the RG is definitely more aerodynamic. I know because I switched my bike from a BW to a RG, before the switch it was hard to get it above 115 & now it runs right past 120, it also gets 2-3 better MPGs. That doesn't answer the buffeting ? but at least I gave you an answer, as for the buffeting do a search, there's as many opinions as there's a::holes about that, but I know I won't go back.
