Vance and Hines Pro Pipe, Fuel Moto modified Screaming Eagle air intake, and a PCV pre programmed by Fuel Moto. Install and ride. No fuss no muss. Sounds like a Harley

I absolutely love the performance and sound of my 2-1 thunderheaders. I don't think many other pipes have the tone or the sound of these pipes. I wouldn't suspect you would be dissappointed with these pipes. If you do go with Thunderheaders make sure you get the heat shields with them or wrap them. Alot of heat come off them and the pipe itself will discolor over time

...'nuff said...

Thunderheaders do have a unique sound, I'll give them that. However, they also have a unique look. Like bent poop :icon_verzsilly:

Thunderheader

Hey guys, just got and installed my TH on my bike and...WOW! It sounds amazing! I'm not sure the pipe/map swap made that much difference but it feels like it pulls alot better. I wish I had both combos dynoed but maybe in the fall. In my opinion, I think it's the best combo and I have the look and sound that I've been wanting. Now I just have to sell the Supertrapp....And I can hear the tunes just fine.

I'll hopefully have some pics soon!

cobra speedster extra long shots look great sound; mild at idle, still hear stereo at highway speed and realy talk under power. plus they have the 2 into 1 power port but keep the 2 pipes. power difference was 25 -30 percent.buddy has 03 sg and would pull me by 3-4 links per gear now I lead by 3-4 links per gear. so he doesn't like my new pipes.

well how about that I was starting to think that I was the
only one on here with the cobra speedsters xtra longs, and I
love mine as well. You can also get quiet baffels for them if
ever a need be

I made the classic newbie mistake of going cheap when I bought my SG last year and just threw on some slip-ons. Now I want to open it up quite a bit with more aggressive pipes and air cleaner; probably a tune while I'm at it. Any quick suggestions on the best bang for my buck?

What I think you should do is contact Chris with Cycle Solutions and purchase one of his power packs. There are several to choose from. I went with the 3.5 Rinehart true duals, ThunderMax Auto Tune and Arlen Ness Stage 1 Big Sucker Breather. I have put 5000 flawless miles on this package. I thought maybe you could use some more options.
