Default Seat help

I have two bikes, an Ultra and a fatboy. The Ultra is pretty much going to replace the Fatboy for cruising. What I am wanting to know is what seat, Mustang and etc, will allow me to sit back a little on the Ultra. I have a Mustang seat on the Fatboy that I love. Put a lot of miles on that seat. But when I go from the Fatboy to the Ultra, the Ultra, I feel like I am sitting on the tank. So I am assuming that I am being sat more forward on the Ultra. Now I want to change out my Ultra seat here soon, so I am needing some advice on what seat that will work for me

Mustang makes a Super Touring seat that moves you 1.75" rearward.

HD makes a Tallboy that moves you 2" rearward.

Just make sure that your arms are long enough to tolerate the new position!

I just got the Mustand Super Touring seat here at Americade today. I'm sure I could have gotten it at a discount online but the fact that all the Mustang seats were here and I could try them on my bike was worth it to me. They also installed it and shipped my stock seat back home.

The Super Tourer did move me back off the tank and I was afraid it would be too much, but it was just enough to make me feel like I had more room without being too far back. I can still touch the ground flat footed as well, and the seat feels great. Its also 3" wider than the stock EG seat which makes a big difference. If it helps I am not tall by any stretch of the imagination...5'10" with a 29" inseam.

Bottom line is we can all tell you what we feel the best seat would be, but there is no substitute for trying a seat to see how it fits you. What worked for me may not work for you, and its a pain to find that out by getting an expensive seat UPS and finding out its not what you were looking for. Try and find a dealer who will let you try out the different seats you are considering.

I like the Mustang seats. Tried the saddlemen seat but just didn't like the way it felt. Now this was all on the Fatboy. And too, I have a 30" inseam and if the Mustang sits you back about a 1.75 that would probably make me feel a little at ease.

I put a mustang super tourer on my 2010 Limited. I'm 6'4 and really needed some extra room. The seat pushed me back and down and is a lot more comfortable than the stocker. I even had the stocker worked on and it still didn't work. I really like the mustang, it feels good to me.

I have had Mustangs on previous bikes and loved them. I had the HD Tallboy on my '08 Ultra and it was great, moved me back 2" and down 1". I will get another for this bike as soon as the finances allow.
