Do you think that could be the issue with my cruise?

 

Absolutely, you have a neutral switch in the perch that is much like the brake switch. If you pull the clutch in while riding the cruise would shut off.

 

I know why that code came up, like a knucle head I thought I could make it home on fumes but I was wrong, I ran out of gas on the fwy and coasted down the off ramp in neutral. I since cleared the code but my cruise is still acting up. I am going to the dealer tomorrow and purchasing a electrical diagnostic manual. Thanks for your help Dawg...
