Have a 2010 FLHX with about 1500 miles. Had the dealer 1000 ck.
Had a wicked clunk on putting it in 1st but all gears were very noisy (the clunk).

I had put redline tranny fluid in my 97 FLHR and it made it silent. Redline in the Street Glide didn't do a thing to quiet it.

Is this normal or does it have issues?

 

I have found on my 09 that the clutch adjustment is really picky , mine goes from perfect to too tight in like half a turn at the cable.
Any more slack and I get the "clunks" like you mention.
Mine also get looser as it gets hot , I'm not sure it's normal , but mine does it.
Maybe try to reduce the adjustment a smidge and see if it gets better , I use redline also in the tranny and still get the clunks when my clutch adjustment is not perfect.
Just what works for me.....
