Ya'll remember me commenting about having put mah GL1800 on eBay yesterday? Well, shucks - someone done ended the auction with the "buy it now" option - 31 hours after I put it up there. Swwweeeettttt - now ah gotta call the dealer tomorrow mornin' and get our new one set up!

Got the money in hand yet????????? If not, just be careful of getting your hopes too high. Heard too many scam stories on ebay.

 

Been on eBay since the late '90's, so I've gotten pretty goodat spottin' the scammers. Since they used the "buy it now" option AND have sent a 500 buck deposit, THAT part is pretty clean. From this point, they'll be dealin' with an' ol' redneck what used ta wear a badge - cash is king! The buyer has good feedback, been on eBay over 7 years, and lives in New Mexico - so all the signs look pretty straight.

Last bike I sold on eBay went much the same way - good, quick clean sale.
