Default Wide Glide vs. Street Glide

Hi guys, was hoping to get some opinions. I'm a fairly new rider and due to work/family I ride back and fourth to work and around town(no trips). i bought a 2010 wide glide last year and I love it but I need something for a little storage. problem is I like how it looks now and don't want to put bags on it. I ve been thinking about trading/selling it for a 2012 street glide. my question is for my purposes would the street glide be a good fit or am I better off with the wide glide. thanks.

Just sayin, once you go tourer you'll never go back. Might have two bikes, but most never go back.

It all starts with " I just need alittle storage"........... Then before you know it you got an Ultra sitting in the garage.

Default I went back...sort of!

I have an 09 Road Glide with lowers which i love for traveling, however for around town it just doesn't cut it. Just bought a used "03 Wide Glide and love it!! Just did a 175 trip today and did miss the comfort of the touring chassis but had a blast on the Wide Glide. So much lighter, no windshield, feels like I'm back on a motorcycle. Not to mention quite a bit faster. I love it!

Wide glide here 12 years.
Then went to street glide. You will like the SG. But miss the WG. Get some bags and use it for a while. Give your self some time to figure out what u really need or want.

My first HD was a 07 SG and I love it. The hard bags carry everything I want on the road with me and I still have space for the wifes crap.

That right there is the problem! Geez, go for a weekend and you'd think you were going for a month!

As a previous wide glide owner, I did love that bike. But, no that I have a bagger I really enjoy the storage. Even for something as simple as picking some things up at the store after a ride. I don't need to go home first then go back out. I had always wanted a wide glide as long as I can remember. After I road i for about a year it became apparent that a bagger was the bike for me. My friends had some influence too, they all road them.
