Of course, that's assuming you don't let the batteries in the Fob go dead.

Bike stollen?
I had to go look and found 11111 as the code @$%^&**(@.
What the F--k?
I got a 2011 and did not think I would need to worry for another year or so for new battery. After seeing this tread I got to thinking that if my Stealer set them all to 11111 then any one in our area could walk up to the bike and steal it within 10 seconds? NOT GOOD!!
It should be required for it to be set with the salesmen at the time of sale.
CHANGE YOUR CODE. Or you might fall victim.
Thanks for this thread.

For everybody that has the factory alarm.....it's a good idea to check it, as the dealers generally set it to all "1"s, or to the last digits of your VIN.
Either way, if a person was armed with that knowledge, it makes it very easy for them to ride off with your bike, w/o the alarm even chirping.
