performing the 1000 mile service. I am looking forward to tomorrow and doing this. I careful logged 990 miles tonight to ensure I can ride the bike enough to running condition right around 1000 miles.

Have all my fluids and gaskets and will start/finish tomorrow morning.

Sorry, can't help it, I enjoy wrenching on them as much as riding them.

Probably won't sleep too well to night in anticipation. :woohoo:

 

You do realize that being right on the 1000 mile mark is not an important factor, don't you? Also remember there is more than just fluids on the 1k service (torque specs, etc.) Enjoy

 

Yes, I know the mile mark is not an exact thing Just stating it in that manner to show my anticipation to perform the service. Note, I stated 1K service, not 1K oil change. Well aware of the tasks needing to be done.

Get on it!! I did my 1k 2 weekends ago and last weekend I decided to cut up my exhaust and kill the cat( wierd feeling chopping on a bike I've only made 2 payments on) Have fun..
