Depends on what year, might be the HD "touring" upgrade for RKC. My stock '02 RKC is very different than that one.....free to a good home, hated that POS. Got a custom seat nine years ago....still perfect.

That it is just trying to understand what it is. The claim is it is an 08 sundowner, looks stock to me but I am awaiting a return email from seller. It is funny the stock seat is supposed to be a POS, but this does look like a sundowner, except for the passenger pad is smaller on this seat than the SDowners I've seen

Ok so the consensus is that this is a stock '08 Road King Classic seat, it appears to be the "Touring" upgrade offered in '08. Can someone chime in and tell me how this stacks up compared to the Sundowner? I do not plan on using the passenger feature too much but would like that option. I would really like to morph the road king classic solo seat onto a '09 from and I may look into that this winter but for now I am converting my Police model into a civilian version and the "classic" is the way I am going. So if you had this seat and changed it out to a Sundowner please let me know if I should or should not waste my time with a seat like this one.
thanks

Certainly not a Sundowner. I've had a softtail version, an earlier touring version and now the current touring version and this one is NOT a Sundowner. If it were, the passenger's seat area would be much larger.

Definitely not a Sundowner. I have 'em on both bikes.

It looks like a stock road king seat to me.
I've got the same seat on mine in "street glide mode"
If you look closely you can see a silver/black HD logo on the side of the seat.
