Electra Glide
Some call it a rolling couch on wheels but if i was going touring its just what id want.
Anyway im curious, you glide riders what mods have you done to roll in style?

They come pretty well equipped for some serious touring.
I considered an Ultra Limited, but ended up going with a Road Glide Ultra. Just came down to personal preference on the ride and fit. Now, hit the road...

Pull back touring bars, drivers backrest, and highway pegs are going a long way for now. When I can get some more money together I will go for the ipod setup in the saddlebag so I can keep the handlebar clean and the ipod out of sight.

Stage 1, so it runs better.
Klock Werks 12" tinted shield (shorter than stock)
Wild 1 515 handlebars (better fit and handling), internally wired
Polyurethane riser bushings
Performance Machine Contour XL grips
Floorboard extenders
Removed heel shifter
BrightAss taillight
Brighter (whiter) headlamp bulbs
Highway pegs

H-D rider backrest
Better shifter linkage with heim joints (reliability)

Monster ovals, ness big sucker,PC4,Driver backrest,I pod G4,highway pegs,shorter recurve windshield,upgraded speakers with tweeters,parade fan.Replaced useless air temp gauge with oil temp gauge. Shocks will be replaced soon.

The limited is pretty close to having it all. I did add the pegs, 1 inch floorboard spacers, got a couple of shields and also a mustang seat (see sig). These items were pretty much for comfort reasons only; however the 8” tinted shield was also a little for looks.
Other than that I did a stage 1 (see sig) for a couple of other reasons; nothing to do with comfort.
