Default Rinehart Slipons

I have a 2011 103" Street Glide with Rinehart slipons, a stage 1 A/C and SERT as my starter set up. Today I got the wild hair to pop the baffels out and do some tweaking... I took a screw driver and a hammer and widened the holes in the baffels. I could have drilled new holes like others have, but it only took an hour and a half start to finish and the sound is amazing!!! No decel popping or anything negatives to report just yet. The sound is much deeper and much louder. Very happy with the low cost of sweat and a little white trash engineering

when you go looking for more volume add the true dual head pipes. until then enjoy the ride! Ride safe and often.

Are those the 4" slipons? I have an rg w/ the 103 and the rineharts, I figured I wouldnt get any more sound until i installed a header.

Yeah, headers are my next step, just saving up the cash for them. But I must say that opening the baffels up made a big difference. I heard taking the baffels out all together screws up the tune on the SERT. So I decided not to go that route.

Could you explain what you did. I am looking for more sound as well. I bought the free flowing baffles, but they do not fit my 4 " end caps, and seem to be too long. THis may be a better modification.. Thanks.

I have a 2011 Ultra Limited and I have the 4" Rinehart slipons, PCV, SE Stage 1 A/C and holy crap, what a different bike! Sounds nice and deep, great power and better drivability.

Yeah I have the 4" rineharts and I wish they were a bit louder. I just dont want to pull out baffles and set off any codes either.

Hi
I'm doing some research on the Rinehart slip on's. I have the 4" on order. The bike has a stage 1 Air Cleaner in stalled. The headers are stock.
I was going to go with the true duels but the design has been change. Now both header pipes exit out the right side and look goofy to me.
I like the look of the stock headers better. My bike is a 2009 96" and I was wondering if I should try it with out a remap or just bite the bullet and remap when I install the Rienharts.
Thanks in advance
Mongo
