Default CFR Cory Faas Racing???

I am interesting in getting a set opf these mufflers. The HD dealer want $650.
Does anyone know of a reasonable place to buy them.
Have anyone tried them and what was you feed back.

I don't know what all the hype is over CFR's. A lot of people say they look and sound awesome but that's all subjective. The only thing that is for sure is they make your bike run like crap... at least that's what I've gathered after reading the reviews.

Must be talking about Cool Springs HD. I got my SG there about 3 weeks ago and they were pushing the CFR's on me real hard. They sound real good and look very nice. I might have done it but the SG already had Rienharts on it.

Auditioned the CFRs, V&H Hi-Output and 4" Rineharts at the dealer today. I too have read about the power issues with the CFR however they were by far the deepest sounding among the three. I ended up buying something other than the CFRs but they sounded good, in my opinion.

You can check with Dr. V Twin for pricing. Performance issues are not an problem for me. My '10 UC has V&H power duals, SE A/C, SERT and CFR slip ons. The problem with performance is with the dyno operator/tuner. Reb at Republic HD has developed several MAPs for my scoot and it runs like a furry winged rat out of Hades.

Outlaw Dyna, I usual go to Cool Spring sincce I'm only about 5 miles away. LarryB, the muffer guy is real put a lot on, but I'm not paying $650. I love the sound and woonder if my tune on the Reinharts & PC III would need to be re-tuned.
