Default Seat Strap Length??

I just bought an '04 Road King Custom and the PO removed the seat strap. I'm looking at replacing it. What is the length of the strap? See a few on eBay from 24"-27"

You can probably walk into a dealer any day of the week and ask for one free. Most dealers have an entire drawer full just sitting around.

You can get the longest strap and adapt it to your seat

Not sure our seats are the same but my strap was handy - about 25" center to center on the holes

The very first mod I made to my bike was to cut that strap off.

I don't think it provides any useful benifit other than covering up that ugly gaping hole for the drivers backrest. If the seat didn't have the hole I wouldn't nor couldn't care less.

What never ceases to amaze me is the effort and time others will commit to to comment on something they have absolutely no interest or investment in. Man, I wish I had that kind of time on my hands...lol!

Obviously, you, the other poster, and I have plenty of time because we all commented on this post void of any contribution at all...

Yeah, for sure ain't that the truth? Seat strap length?
Geez who woulda thunk?
Must have a real hot bike?
Ever considered a seat belt, or the equivelent, for your passenger to be able to hold on?
I'm sure that it that is in the top priorities of importance..
