Default Progress Pics of Stage 2 103 build on my 2009 FLHX

Just wanted to post pics of my Stage 2 103 build in progress on my 2009 Street Glide. The heads are out getting ACR solenoids installed.

ENJOY!

Cool pics. Thanks for sharing. How many miles did you have on her and how bad was the carbon build up, particularly on the valve stems? I've been seeing heavy carbon build up in many of the later model bikes. Not sure if its the gasoline, amount of oil being sucked in by the later breathers or what. I've seen heavy carbon build up in some engines with only 5k on the clock. All later models.

Rickr01,

This bike is pretty much new. Not many miles on it at all. This is one of our showroom demos so it doesn't get out much. There is some carbon buildup, but that is to be expected with the combustion that takes place in the chambers.

XARAN,

SE 255 cams.

Looks like this just turned into a Stage 4 103 build. SE stage 4 heads are on their way!

That cam plate looks so much better and rigid than the stock. with that new oil pump everything should be nice and lubed up, really nice build.

Looks like the rings never got seated by the looks of how clean the top of the piston is around the edges...
