I had one that was unstable and I spoke to the owner and it turns out since the bike was lowered it was not the correct height. He sent me antoher one and all is good. If you have any changes to your bikes ride height, the stand has to be changed to accomodate it. Maybe that's the issue. Mine is very stable and easy to use.

One of the big things with any center stand is it must be used on LEVEL ground!!

Default EZ-Up center stand

Thanks folks for all the replies. I guess I'm just being a little too cautious.
Don't want to dump my bike; takes too long to heal up at my age. Ride safe and thanks once again.

I have one on my '09 ultra. I like it very much - love to see my bike level in the garage every morning. However, I scrape it all the time - speed bumps and while cornering. May have to reluctantly remove it.

That's going off topic! New frames still have rubber mounts and are better, but not perfect.

I have had a display stand for many years, mounts up front and tucks under the floor boards. Doesn't cause any grounding problems, nor does it interfere with my True-Track!

First thing I bought, when I got my 2011 UC. I scape it every once and a while on large speed bumps and in tight curves, 2 up. Just got back from the Tail Of The Dragon and I think my EZ-up, left its mark, on just about every curve. Just scrap marks on the legs.
Still works great.

Nothing in this world is perfect...but after going over all the same places that my 06 used to wobble, my '10 & '11 do not wobble even at a higher speed. Haven't found the need for the True Track on the new frame yet.....
