Default Ordering a pitbull for streetglide should I get the standard or dyna lift?

I hate to bring up a topic that has been beaten to death but I have searched and havent found a clear answer. I have a 2011 streetglide and called to order a pitbull lift today. I had all intentions of ordering the standard lift, but the lady said the dyna would be a good choice as well. I will be using this for my father inlaws jap bike, atvs and mainly my streetglide. Question is is the dyna lift easier to get to the drain plugs and is it as stable as a standard. I am wondering what option would be best. Throwing down 500 diollars for a lift I just wanna make suer I get the right one

Lifts are fairly specific. I cannot use my Pit Bull for my John Deere tractor. You need the right tool for the right job. For HDs, however, unless you are looking for a table lift, Pit Bill is the end of your search, Period.

. I don't know why she tried to sell you a lift for a dyna, when that is not what you have.. I guess that I would be confused too...
and may look else-where..
J & S are also very good..

she said the dyna fit all harleys, but the standard fit more bikes in general, I didnt know if the dyna may be easier to use due to the fact it has only two bars wider aprt rather than 4, but i would think th efour bars would be sturdier

Hello, I just bought a used pitbull lift from a member here. It was a dyna model. I emailed the company and was told it works on all harley models. I have an ultra classic. I also have a goldwing. I used it on both bikes yesterday. The dyna is wider on the spacing of the rails making it more stable. plus it is more open between the rails for any work you may have to do there.
I find it very easy too move my bikes around the garage while on the lift.
I have no experience with the standard lift. But the dyna seems more able to do a variety of bikes.
Hope this helps a little.
Check around sometimes you can get a good deal on a used lift. I did.

I believe the dyna lift has modified rails for their frame...should still work on FLHX, but might need to make an adjustment...??
