2012 103" Fuel Moto Wood TW-777 Cam Dyno Testing

Mufflers
The results posted were with Jackpot Mufflers. To be honest I was skeptical about the staggered outlet diameters designed into the mufflers. the left pipe actually has a restricted cone that reduces reversion. There is also a very particular pattern in the baffle core that I was told had been perfected on the dyno. After 6 identical 110 hp runs I asked Jamie to run my CVO mufflers with 2 inch Fulsac cores for an honest comparison. I was very surprised to see the numbers drop 3hp and a full 8 on the torque. I was actually disappointed because I thought they sounded so good. Needless to say the Jackpot design is no bull, makes power and after the install I think they sound even better than what I had. Live and learn I guess. Thanks again to Jamie at Fuel Moto.

Great thread
Just a note for those scheduling major services such as engine builds or cam swaps now until March 1st Fuel Moto will cover your 1 or 2 night stay at Country Inn & Suites in Little Chute, WI which is right down the street from our shop. Many of our customers have stayed here over the last several seasons. It is very clean and modern, there is a nice pool with a waterpark for the kids (and a Tiki bar for the adults) http://www.countryinns.com/little-ch...54140/wilittle
